As the Chief Data and Marketplace Officer at AppNexus, Catherine leads a team of three dozen analysts and data scientists who build tools and products that enable advertisers to optimize campaigns and publishers to manage and maximize yield. Catherine also drives AppNexus’ marketplace initiative, a cross-functional role defining strategy and delivering critical tools and data analysis to measure and influence marketplace success.
A member of the company’s Technical Leadership Team, she also plays an instrumental role in the AppNexus Women’s Network and guides the company in its commitment to creating a diverse and empowering environment for women in tech.
Prior to joining AppNexus, Catherine held post-doctoral appointments at Stanford University and Columbia University, where she was an award-winning undergraduate and graduate instructor, and published peer-reviewed papers in academic publications. She also served as a software test engineer at Microsoft.
