Alma Media Has Chosen AppNexus to Leverage its Digital Advertising Development
Alma Media, a media and service company focusing on digital services and publishing, and AppNexus, the world’s leading independent advertising technology company, today announced a technology partnership that makes the AppNexus Publisher Suite the full-stack ad serving infrastructure for Alma Media, enabling Alma to strengthen its strategy as a pioneer in digital advertising.
The new technology will modernise and enhance the efficiency of Alma’s digital advertising functions with regard to ad management, optimisation, forecasting, yield analysis and programmatic buying. The new digital advertising distribution system will be deployed in 2016 throughout the media network formed by Alma’s news media, lifestyle media and marketplaces. The distribution system covers desktop, mobile and video advertising. The Alma network is one of Finland’s largest media networks, and through its different media Alma reaches approximately 80% of Finnish people aged 15–74 (source TNS Gallup 7-12/2015).
The partnership provides Alma Media with even better opportunities to develop its digital advertising business by expediting activities such as the development and launch of digital ad products, and by improving the efficiency of ad operations.
